How Well Do You Know the Words of Jesus?

Trevin Wax links to three quizzes here. I got 10/10/9. The order of the parables in Luke 15-16 was the question I dropped on the advanced quiz.

I didn’t do nearly so well, but I DID get the order of the parables right. I just remembered some of the discussion in Kenneth Bailey’s book.

10/10/8. I remembered that the three lost parables are all in chapter 15 and that lost (prodigal) son comes third of those three - from there is was elimination.

That was rather difficult. It was 10/5/4 for me, though I missed a few easy ones because I answered too hastily.

This may very well embarrass me into revisiting John and Revelation in a serious manner.

I was really disappointed in myself for dropping the parable question. I knew the order of the three lost parables, but somehow forget that they were all in Luke 15, which is simply inexcusable, considering that I just reread Kenneth Bailey’s book a few months ago.

Yeah, you should be ashamed of yourself. I’m not sure I can be your friend anymore.

I got 9/6/5 :S

10/10/8
